South Africa, Gauteng, Female, 24 and under

Having worked in the field and through experiences as a student….. It’s a lot. Women architects are already a minority in the field and on top of that, they are not taken as seriously as male architects. We are not accommodated enough and there are not many platforms to discuss these issues. that said-it affects me in a sense of I am concerned about my future in the architectural field, when will I start my own firm, will it be as successful as my male counterparts, are clients going to respect me as a female architect? So many questions…..
