South Africa, Gauteng, Female, 25-34

I am a mother and a wife trying to get a degree in architecture. Being a woman/mother pursuing her own dreams is psychologically challenging. As a mother, I always feel like I have to be in two places at once. I want to do my work and I want to be there for my son. I am told that as a woman I don’t have to do work and pursue a career, but I have to be a mother. I love being a mother but there is no support in doing both.
