South Africa, Johannesburg, Female, 24 and under

My gender does not affect me as a designer, but I do feel the industry has a lot of stereotype that in order for you to be a good fashion designer you need to be gay and not straight because gay people are seen as good competitors in the fashion industry compared to a straight female or male.
