South Africa, Johannesburg, Female, 24 and under

My gender does not affect my confidence as a designer, as men and women are seen as equals in the realm of design and the creative part of the world. But I do feel that because of people identifying as different sexualities it has caused me to not be confident in my art and design, because of the fear of being called out as a homophobe. If we should embrace homosexuals, then we should also embrace heterosexuals in my opinion.
