South Africa, Johannesburg, Female, 25-34

I have actually centered my final year collection on deconstructing ideas of gender. The target market for my collection is trans, gender non-conforming and gender non-binary people. As a Cishet woman, working and studying in fashion, I don’t face a lot of disenfranchisement of discrimination on that basis and I am glad that our industry, though problematic in a lot of other ways, is at least very accepting of females and queers.
