UK, Cornwall, Male, 25-34

When I was a junior designer (roughly ten years ago), I was surrounded by a much higher percentage of male designers in all positions. This seems to have changed, as over the last few years when I have worked in studios there are a lot more female designers coming through at placement, junior and middleweight levels. That said, it still seems like the majority of creative directors and owners are male. One thing I have also noticed is that in many of the studios I have worked/freelanced, it appeared that almost all project managers were female. Many seemed to have had a background in art and design, but for some reason drifted into project management roles rather than creative/design ones.
