I was actually really surprised to hear that 78% of the design workforce is male—in the circles that I work in, most of the designers are female. I’ve been fortunate enough to have a very good experience of gender in design, I’ve found that the projects and teams that work best are ones where there is a mix of genders and skill sets to compliment each other.
