My experience with design has been mostly male-dominated. Certainly in the fashion industry, where I have gone on to work, the vast majority of senior positions are held by males. From my experience in the industry, I feel that most men’s magazines have a majority of male employees, and yet women’s magazines will probably have a 50/50 male to female staff count. I am privileged enough not to have experienced this myself but these are just my observations on a male-dominated society.
